My Schedule

If you fly a line schedule, SimpleAvWx can fill My Trip with the airports in your current sequence, follow your flights, and watch them for delays. Open ⋯ → My Schedule on the grid or the map.

Import a file

  1. In your scheduling app, export or share your schedule as a CSV file and choose SimpleAvWx.
  2. Or save the file first, then in My Schedule tap Import Schedule (or the import button at the top left) and pick the file.
  3. SimpleAvWx reads the sequences and adds the departure, arrival, and layover airports to My Trip.

What the file needs

A CSV with a header row. Column names aren’t case-sensitive:

NeededColumn names it recognizes
SequenceSequence Number, Sequence
Start dateStart Date Local, Start Date, Report Date
End dateEnd Date Local, End Date, Release Date
DepartureDeparture Station, Departure, Dep Station
ArrivalArrival Station, Arrival, Arr Station
OptionalLayover Airport / Layover / Layover Station; Flight Number / Flight; Activity / Activity Type
Optional: airplaneTail Number, Tail, Registration, Aircraft Registration, Nose Number, Nose, Ship Number, Ship, Fin

Three-letter station codes (like CLT) are matched to ICAO codes (like KCLT). An airplane column lets flight tracking find the airplane for each flight.

Choosing the sequence in My Trip

My Trip shows one sequence at a time, and the current sequence takes over the day after a trip ends. To show another one:

The sequence list

Sequences are grouped by month. The current month opens first. Each row shows its dates and number of flights, with these tags:

The Saved flights row at the top opens Saved flights.

Deleting sequences

Sharing sequences

Tap the share button on a sequence to send it to someone who has SimpleAvWx. Sequences you receive are marked Shared. See Sharing.

Removing a schedule

Tap Remove Schedule, then confirm. Airports that were added for the schedule are removed from My Trip, and shared sequences are removed too. Airports you’d already saved stay in My Airports.

Your schedule file is kept on your iPhone. See Privacy.
